The Groceries in Lewistoncomic series is perhaps the most in-depth comic project I've ever worked on and has now been around since 1997, which I just realized was 20 YEARS AGO! Based on my time working in a grocery store, the series concept began as a daily comic strip, but quickly evolved into a full comic book series. I have written up to 20 story arcs that originally consisted of 24 issues each! The planning over the years has included plots (in comic strip and comic book form), scripts, character descriptions, model sheets, and promo posters like the one above. This poster nor any other artwork has been released online until now. The project was pushed aside when I started doing Inkstains, and because of my desire to be "good enough" at my art to properly illustrate it. Now in 2017, I feel that I have matured enough artistically that I am ready to finish what I started, and finally create the Groceries in Lewiston web comic! I am looking forward to adding it to my Crevice Comics universe in the near future!
